Cartnorm B2B is not on WordPress.org yet. These pages describe version 0.3.0, the version that will be published. Pro features are marked as planned.
The registration page
The page with the [cartnorm_b2b_registration] shortcode is created on activation. It asks for:
- company name, contact name, email address,
- a password, or nothing: then the applicant receives an email with a link to set a password,
- country, VAT ID, phone (optional) and a message (optional),
- consent to store the data for the review, linked to your privacy policy page if you have one.
Existing customers can apply from My Account. Visitors who already have an account are asked to log in and apply from there.

WooCommerce › Settings › B2B › Wholesale registration:

What happens after an application
- The VAT ID is checked in VIES. The result is stored with the application.
- The applicant stays a Retail customer. A group is never taken from the form.
- Manual approval: you get an email, and the application appears in Users › Pending wholesale with the VIES result and Approve wholesale / Reject wholesale links.
- Automatic approval: if VIES confirms the VAT ID, the customer joins the group at once. If the number is not valid, or VIES is unavailable, the application always waits for you.
- The customer gets an email when the application is approved or rejected.
Approving puts the customer into the group chosen under Approved customers join. You can change the group later in Users › Edit user.
Spam protection
The form uses a nonce, a honeypot field and a rate limit per IP address. Applications never get a group without your approval or a valid VIES result, so a spammer cannot get wholesale prices by filling in the form.
Emails
B2B: new wholesale application (to you), B2B: wholesale account approved and B2B: wholesale application declined (to the customer), in WooCommerce › Settings › Emails.
Privacy
The plugin stores what the form asks for, on the user account, and removes it when you delete the plugin. Mention the wholesale application and the VIES check in your privacy policy.
