2. Who these terms are for
Our plugins are tools for online shops. Paid licences are sold to businesses only: companies, sole traders, freelancers and agencies buying for their trade or profession, not to consumers. By buying, you confirm that you act for business purposes. Prices on this website are shown excluding VAT; Freemius adds VAT at checkout where it applies.
The free plugin may be used by anyone under its GPL licence.
3. The software
Cartnorm Omnibus Lowest Price is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later and distributed on WordPress.org. Cartnorm Pro is also licensed under the GPL v2 or later.
A paid licence gives you, for its term and for the number of sites in your plan:
- access to Pro downloads and updates;
- activation of Pro features on that number of sites;
- email support.
4. Purchase, trial and renewal
Licences are sold by Freemius, Inc. as reseller and Merchant of Record. Freemius processes the payment, calculates VAT, issues the invoice and handles renewals and refunds; its terms of sale apply to the purchase.
Licences are billed yearly and renew automatically until you cancel. A free trial, where offered, turns into a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel before. Refunds follow our refund policy.
We may change prices for new purchases. Existing subscriptions keep the price they were bought at.
5. Support
We provide support by email in good faith and usually answer within two business days. Support covers the use of our plugins. It does not include custom development or legal advice.
6. Not legal advice
Our plugins help you display prices in line with EU price-indication rules, but they are tools, not legal advice. You remain responsible for your prices, for the settings you choose and for checking the law that applies to your shop. Our documentation and guides are general information.
7. Warranty and liability
The software is provided “as is”, as described in the GPL. We fix bugs we are told about as quickly as we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee that the software is free of errors or suits every shop.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a paid licence is limited to the amount you paid for that licence in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profit, fines imposed on you, or data loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending the licence
You can cancel at any time. If a payment fails or is refunded, the licence ends. The software you already downloaded remains yours under the GPL, but updates, support and Pro activation end with the licence.
9. Events outside our control
We are based in Ukraine, which is at war. Power cuts, network outages or other events outside our control may delay support replies or updates. We are not liable for such delays. Licensing, downloads and payments run on Freemius’s servers outside Ukraine and are not affected by local outages.
If we ever stop developing Cartnorm Pro, we will tell active customers at least 30 days in advance and refund the unused part of the current licence year.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you buy or renew applies to that purchase or renewal.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory rules of the country where you are based.
